The Civil War was filled with hatred and killing.  It lasted from April 12, 1861 to April 9, 1865.  The most people died from diseases and not due to fighting.  This is weird considering that the war lasted 4 years.  There were many different people in the war.  There was 11 southern states, 22 northern states, Europeans, more than 3 million men, about 200,000 boys 16 and under, about 300 women, and about 3,530 Native Americans.  In my web page there will be a lot of historical facts you have probably never heard before, and a lot of the reasons that this war was started.  Do you actually want to know how many people died during the war and how, then you will have to read my web page to find out.
